Accounting Academy started in 2003 as a face to face training organisation in the field of professional accounting.
During 2004 and 2005 the Academy has been involved in "partnership programs" with premier Australian Universities to train job ready skills for Accounting Graduates
Then in 2005/ 2006 due to the demand and popularity of such skills training, and the high demand for accounting employees, the Academy further developed the more far reaching e learning internet based sessions currently available and in further development.
The Director of the Academy is Carolyn Baker. Carolyn is currently Principal of her own practice established for over 10 years.
Carolyn has had extensive experience in working in Private Practice using her experience as an Audit and Financial Management Manager with international firms PriceWaterhouse Coopers and a Business Services Manager with Ernst & Young.
She is highly regarded and well known as a Chartered Accountant , Fellow of the Tax Institute of Australia , and an accredited Superannuation & Retirement Law Specialist.
